OUR CLIENT, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Finance Controller to join their team in Albany, GA. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a growing organization with a strong reputation in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, planning, costing, and other financial matters.
• Manage the activities of the corporate accounting department, ensuring the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports.
• Supervise the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and manage invoice funding.
• Coordinate with external CPA firm for tax compliance and annual audits.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure data integrity.
• Consolidate financial data for accurate reporting and analysis.
• Assist in special projects and compile reports as needed.
• Produce annual budgets and forecasts, reporting significant differences to management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of finance and accounting experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in aviation or aerospace.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP ERP software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Strong management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proven project management skills.

Salary:

• $110,000-$120,000 per year.
